Holiday Photo Cards...Yes or No?
This is my first BLOG so bear with me. My name is Laurie and I am the proud mother of LG and EG, and owner of White Pine Graphics, a stationery/invitation store in Clarks Summit, PA.
I have a subject that many people think about but do not talk about, The Family Photo Card!!!
YES OR NO???
Every year I drag my children out to a "special spot" in the yard, in carefully selected semi coordinating outfits, to get that perfect shot. The one that is worthy of making "The Card"
They fuss and fight, they even laugh if the timing is right. The dogs never do what you want and the kids have that forced smile, with gritted teeth grunting "How much Longer?".
So, is it worth it?? Do people really enjoy getting those cards to make the effort worth it?
Good or bad, smiling or not, I have to vote YES...I love receiving other cards and I love seeing how the kids grow and change from year to year, I like the creativity people have and the effort they put in. (Believe me I know the struggle) but they make me smile!
